College of Alameda

New Center for Liberal Arts

This project is a new 53,000 square foot multi-story building consisting of general classrooms including spaces for art and apparel design.  The scope includes overall site improvements and outdoor patio spaces that connect to the existing campus.

College of Alameda New Transportation Technology Center (NTTC)

This project is a new building complex to house the Auto and Diesel Technology programs into a new consolidated facility. New improvements will include new technologies including alternative fuels (fuel cells, hybrids, etc.) The project will be funded with a blend of State and Local Measure G Bond Funds.

College of Alameda Aviation Complex Replacement

The College of Alameda is one of only two colleges in the Bay area that offers an aviation maintenance technology program. This project modernizes the aviation complex located on one acre of District owned property adjacent to the Oakland Airport. The project will be funded with an EDA Grant and a blend of State and Local Measure G Bond Funds.

Infrastructure Improvements

Civil Infrastructure projects generally include site improvements to each campus such as roads, pathways, parking, bike lanes, trails, ingress/egress access, and landscaping.  They may also include improvements to utility systems including sewer, power/electrical/renewable, water, security, and heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems.  These projects are being defined and will be posted here as they are approved to move forward.
